Joining GoToMeeting with Hosted~FTP~ by Browser

Hosted~FTP~ uses GoToMeeting for our support and sales webinars. After clicking on the provided invite URL, follow the steps below to join GoToMeeting. Set up your audio, and share your screen with one of our support or sales consultants.

1. Set up your audio

When you first join, you’ll be prompted to choose which method you’d like to use to listen to the meeting audio.

  • Select Computer audio to use your computer’s mic and speakers. You will have to click on the Allow button in the notification in your browser to give permissions, and then configure your audio.

 

  • Select Phone call to use your telephone to dial into the audio conference. By clicking on the settings icon located on the right, you can select your preferred country and dial in the provided number, followed by the access code, and audio pin when prompted.

Once you’re in the session, you will see your audio controls on the Audio tab. You can switch audio modes at any time.

2. Share your screen

When the consultant asks you to share your screen they will designate you as the Presenter which will allow you to share your screen with the other attendees in the meeting. You will see a pop up asking you to share your screen or you can use the Screen button in your Control Panel or Grab Tab to quickly start and stop sharing the screen of your main monitor once you have presenter controls.
