Configuring Web Access
Hosted~FTP~ Enterprise T2+ accounts have the feature to configure how users authenticate to Hosted~FTP~ through the web interface on an entire account, group, or individual level. To configure web access for users on a group or individual level, the account level option needs to have override enabled.
Steps to enable on an account level

- After logging in as the account administrator, proceed to your Setup tab
- Scroll down to the Account-level options header and locate Web (https) logins for all users
- Click on Customize and in the drop-down menu, select your choice of method for users to authenticate by
- None: Allows no users to connect to the web interface
- Password: Users must authenticate using a username/password
- Other: When you setup SSO, AD, etc. the options will appear for you to choose
- You can select Allow overrides in group/user setup if you want to configure web access only for a group of users or individual users
- Save your changes
Steps to enable on a group level

- Follow steps in account level section to enable Allow overrides in group/user setup
- As an admin, go to your Users tab and click on Groups
- Opening the group of your choice, scroll down and locate Web (https) logins for all users in group
- Click on Customize and select the method of web interface login in the drop-down menu
- None: Allows no users to connect to the web interface
- Password: Users must authenticate using a username/password
- Other: When you setup SSO, AD, etc. the options will appear for you to choose
- You can select Allow overrides in user setup if you want to configure web access for individual users
- Save your changes
Steps to enable on a user level

- Follow steps in account level section to enable Allow overrides in group/user setup
- As an admin, go to your Users tab and open the settings for the user you want to configure
- Scroll down and locate Web (https) logins for this user
- Click on Customize and select the method of web interface login in the drop-down menu
- None: Allows no users to connect to the web interface
- Password: Users must authenticate using a username/password
- Other: When you setup SSO, AD, etc. the options will appear for you to choose
- Save your changes
