WebDrive allows you to mount your Hosted~FTP~ server as a mapped local drive. It allows Windows and Mac users to easily manage files and folders on the server using a familiar drag and drop approach.

After installing WebDrive, open the program and click “New” at the top left. | ![]() |
A pop-up window will list your choice of connection. Select your protocol – In this tutorial, we will be using a secure connection, SFTP. | ![]() |
Input your hostname, and login credentials then click “Next”. You can customize your hostname (find out here), or use the default hostname: ftp.hostedftp.com. | ![]() |
Input the name you want the drive to show, and the letter you want WebDrive to show (in this example: W:// Drive), and click “Connect Now“. | ![]() |
Congratulations, your FTP is now mounted as a disk drive. Viewing your drives, you should now see your FTP site. | ![]() |
