Enabling Single Sign-On (SSO) for user logins
Hosted~FTP~ allows Enterprise T2+ accounts to authenticate user logins with our 4 supported IDPs: Google, Azure, Okta, and Auth0. It can be enabled at the account, group, or individual user level.
Enabling SSO at the account level
- Login as the admin and go to the Setup tab
- Scroll down to Account-level options and locate Web (https) logins for all users
- Select Customize and in the drop-down menu select the name of the SSO and save
- Checking allow overrides in group/user setup will allow selected groups/users to login using password

Enabling SSO at the group level
- Follow steps for “Enabling SSO for the entire account” (Allow overrides in group/user setup must be enabled)
- Go to the Users tab > click on the Groups sub-header
- Select the group to enable SSO for
- Locate Web (https) logins for group
- Select Customize and in the drop-down menu select the name of the SSO and save
- Checking allow overrides in user setup will allow select users in the group to login using password

Enabling SSO at the user level
- Go to the User’s tab and select the username you would like to enable SSO for
- Scroll down to their options checklist and locate Web (https) logins for this user…
- In the drop-down menu select the name of the SSO and save
