We support and strongly recommend you connect with secure connections, using FTPS (FTP over TLS/SSL) or SFTP (FTP over SSH) as a security best practice.

Transfer Mode | We support both active and passive mode. We recommend choosing the passive mode (PASV) to minimize issues with firewalls that block FTP connections | If you are unable to connect using passive mode, please note that in addition to port 21 we use ports 1200 to 2000 for data transfers. You may need to update your firewall configuration to allow access to ports 21 and 1200 to 2000 for the TCP/IP protocol. For FTPS, please make sure:
