Enabling Single Sign-On (SSO) for User Logins

Hosted~FTP~ allows Enterprise T2+ accounts to authenticate user logins with our 4 supported IDPs: Google, Azure, Okta, and Auth0. It can be enabled at the account, group, or individual user level.

Enabling SSO at the Account Level

  1. Login as the admin and go to the Setup tab
  2. Scroll down to Account-level options and locate Web (https) logins for all users
  3. Select Customize and in the drop-down menu select the name of the SSO and save
    1. Checking allow overrides in group/user setup will allow selected groups/users to login using password

Enabling SSO at the Group Level

  1. Follow steps for “Enabling SSO for the entire account” (Allow overrides in group/user setup must be enabled)
  2. Go to the Users tab > click on the Groups sub-header
  3. Select the group to enable SSO for
  4. Locate Web (https) logins for group
  5. Select Customize and in the drop-down menu select the name of the SSO and save
    1. Checking allow overrides in user setup will allow select users in the group to login using password

Enabling SSO at the User Level

  1. Go to the User’s tab and select the username you would like to enable SSO for
  2. Scroll down to their options checklist and locate Web (https) logins for this user…
  3. In the drop-down menu select the name of the SSO and save
