Setting up Five9 using SFTP

Setting up Five9 with FTP (File Transfer Protocol) involves configuring the platform to exchange data or upload recorded calls, reports, and other files to a remote FTP server. This tutorial will guide you through the steps to set up Five9 with Hosted~FTP~.

Creating the Five9 user in Hosted~FTP~

Our best practice use case allows the admin full control of the entire Five9 data, but limiting access to the user, such as read/write/ and no delete permissions.

  1. Logging in as the admin, create the user. It is optional to enable “Manage user settings” so the user cannot access the setup tab to change their password, add MFA, etc.
  2. The user will access their own root folder via SFTP and populate with folders that are required when Five9 connects
